With all the sports tournaments around us, it’s important to highlight three of them. They are very special for Kaptiva Sports, as our players participate with great enthusiasm. What are Surf Cup, MADCUP, and MIC about?
First of all, all three tournaments are international in nature. And to mention another common aspect, all three witness how boys’ and girls’ teams give their all on the field.
Surf Cup
The most recent tournament our teams enjoyed took place from November 28 to December 1, 2024, where they fought and competed in Salou, Tarragona. In fact, we proudly earned a silver medal.
In 2025, the event will return from November 26 to 30. It is aimed at boys and girls in the U10 to U19 categories.
Soon, we will face each other again in this challenge that brings together teams from all over the world. And we will do so with both our players from Kaptiva Sports Academy and the players selected from our Experiences.
MADCUP
MADCUP FOOTBALL has established itself as the leading tournament in youth football, both nationally and internationally. The tournament takes place in the Community of Madrid, with its main venue at the Atlético de Madrid Sports City in Alcalá de Henares.
In its previous IV Edition, 212 international teams from 34 countries participated, 9 of which had not been represented in previous editions, including Kuwait, the Dominican Republic, South Africa, and the Philippines, among others.
Its V Edition will again be held in the Community of Madrid, from June 20 to 25, 2025. It will feature male categories from U7 to U19, female categories from U12 to U19, as well as inclusive categories.
MIC
The Mediterranean International Cup is held at Easter on the Costa Brava. Specifically, this will be its 23rd Edition, and it will take place from April 15 to 20, 2025.
Players born between 2006 (U19) and 2013 (U12) will compete in both male and female categories. As usual, the tournament will feature a group stage, knockout stage, and consolation phase, with the finals taking place on the last day.
At Kaptiva Sports, we are very proud to have participated in this tournament and to continue doing so.. Our boys from Kaptiva Sports Academy are increasingly prepared and united. Unity is strength, and we will prove it on the field.
